Former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili, has firmly stated that no amount of insults or online attacks from politicians or trolls will deter her from advocating for a fair hearing for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. In a statement on Thursday, she expressed that the relentless attacks are aimed at silencing those who seek to hold the government accountable. She made it clear that she would continue to call for transparency and accountability, regardless of the insults or cyberbullying directed at her.

Addressing the recall process initiated against Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, Ezekwesili stressed that it would not succeed. She insisted that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan must be granted a fair hearing regarding her sexual harassment allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio. She affirmed that any efforts to prevent this would fail and that the legitimacy of the senator, backed by the people of Kogi Central, would not be undermined.
