Jude Oguejiofor and his sibling, a medical practitioner, were waylaid and forcefully taken while en route to visit their parents on Sunday, February 11. While the medical doctor was eventually released, Jude Oguejiofor remained in captivity.

As the family endeavored to negotiate for Jude’s safe release, the abductors conveyed the devastating news of the lawyer’s demise.

According to sources within the family, Oguejiofor’s father was previously in good health. However, the profound shock of learning about his son’s murder proved unbearable, leading to his sudden collapse and subsequent passing.

“The gentleman was in sound health during his son’s captivity, but the anguish stemming from Jude’s abduction became overwhelming for him upon receiving news of his demise,” remarked a family insider.
