Held at the Shepard’s Hill Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Mgbuoba, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, the event also saw the parish leadership presenting Governor Fubara with copies of the Holy Bible.
Governor Fubara reflected on the difficulties faced by his administration, noting that while many believed these challenges would be overwhelming, they have instead strengthened his government. He attributed this turnaround to divine intervention, saying, “What many thought would defeat us has instead become an opportunity for renewed strength.”
The governor reaffirmed his commitment to governance, expressing unwavering faith in divine wisdom and guidance. He also emphasized that despite imperfections, his administration will be remembered for its strong leadership based on faith in God.
“I see what others call trouble as God’s purpose guiding us toward a new direction for our state,” Fubara declared, highlighting how, rather than weakening, the challenges have made his administration stronger and bolder.
He urged the congregation to continue praying for the state’s peace and assured the people that, despite physical challenges, divine purpose will always prevail in the end.
