JAMB EPIN Just Got Easier! Firm Streamlines Payment For Candidates
According to Ireporter Online, Interswitch, a leading integrated payments and digital commerce company, is streamlining the registration process for candidates of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) examinations in Nigeria by providing secure, reliable, and accessible channels for purchasing JAMB ePINs.
The acquisition of an ePIN is one of the earliest and most crucial steps in the registration process for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations. Given the time-sensitive nature of the registration period, dependable payment platforms are vital in ensuring that candidates complete their registration efficiently, without delays or complications.
Candidates can obtain their JAMB 2026 ePINs through Interswitch-enabled platforms, including the Quickteller mobile app, Quickteller web platform, and the Interswitch Payment Gateway integrated within the JAMB website. To make a payment, candidates are required to visit the JAMB e-facility portal, verify their profile code, and select Interswitch as their preferred payment option.
Olawale Akanbi, divisional head of Growth Marketing (Merchants & Ecosystem) at Interswitch, emphasized the company’s commitment to simplifying access to education through trusted digital payment solutions.
“At Interswitch, we understand how critical the UTME registration process is for Nigerian students and their families. By providing secure, reliable, and widely accessible payment channels for JAMB ePIN purchases, we are enabling candidates to complete their registration confidently and focus on preparing for their examinations,” Akanbi said.
He further noted that Interswitch’s platforms are designed to handle high transaction volumes while maintaining strong security standards, particularly during peak registration periods. With multiple flexible payment options, candidates and their sponsors can select the channel that best suits their location and convenience.
JAMB-accredited registration centres are encouraged to guide candidates toward Interswitch-powered payment channels to ensure a smooth and error-free ePIN purchase. By doing so, Interswitch continues to solidify its role as a trusted partner in Nigeria’s education ecosystem, leveraging technology to provide seamless access to essential services for students nationwide.
Candidates are advised to purchase their 2026 ePINs early via Interswitch Payment Gateway, Quickteller, or accredited agents to avoid last-minute congestion, delays, or transaction failures.
