JUST IN: Fresh Appointment Made In NCAA

Mrs. Carol Adekotujo, the newly appointed Acting Head of Public Affairs for the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), has officially taken up her role at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

The former General Manager of Public Affairs, Mr. Sam Adurogboye, commenced his pre-retirement leave on Monday after formally handing over his responsibilities to Mrs. Carol, who previously held the position of Assistant General Manager for Public Relations.

During a brief handover ceremony at the NCAA Corporate Headquarters, Adurogboye urged all relevant stakeholders to provide Adekotujo with the necessary support for her new role. He expressed full confidence in her capabilities and competence, affirming his readiness to assist her until his retirement on October 14.

Adurogboye emphasized the importance of proactive communication due to the sensitive nature of her position, which plays a crucial role in maintaining the positive reputation of the authority.

In her response, Adekotujo expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to serve and pledged to collaborate harmoniously with her colleagues to uphold the agency’s positive image.

Representing the Director of Administration, Mr. Anthony Ayasal, the General Manager of Administration, acknowledged Adurogboye’s successful working relationship with journalists, highlighting his contribution to enhancing the NCAA’s corporate image. Ayasal encouraged the new spokesperson to continue this tradition.

Ms. Uloh Ikwo, the General Manager of Consumer Protection, also praised the seamless handover process, describing it as a significant achievement. She requested Adurogboye’s continued support whenever needed, emphasizing the importance of maintaining open communication.

This transition marks the official start of Mrs. Carol Adekotujo’s tenure as the Acting Head of Public Affairs for the NCAA.
