Just In: Man Jumps Into Osun-River In Osogbo After Harassment By Hoodlums (Details)

Residents of Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, were left in shock and confusion when a man identified as Femi Apatanku jumped into the Osun River following harassment by a group of hoodlums. The incident, which occurred near Gbodofon bridge, unfolded around 10:30 am on Saturday, according to eyewitness Sikiru Yusuf.

Yusuf recounted that Apatanku had been severely beaten by the hoodlums at the Finger Licking area adjacent to Gbodofon bridge before fleeing to the river’s edge, where he tragically leaped into the water.

“The man kept saying that a gang had mercilessly beaten him,” Yusuf added.
