In an interview with Arise Television on Thursday, Moghalu emphasized the need for this move to restore investor confidence in Nigeria and bolster the economy.
Moghalu asserted, “To regain confidence, President Tinubu must consider reshuffling his cabinet. The slow process of appointing cabinet members and the overtly political nature of the appointments have contributed to the erosion of investor confidence.”
He elaborated that investors were anticipating a more technocratic approach to address prevailing challenges but were met with a predominantly political cabinet.
Additionally, Moghalu recommended the establishment of a dedicated Economic Advisory Council to offer expert guidance for more effective economic management.
