NAFDAC Issues Urgent Warning on Fake Milo Circulating Nationwide
National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a critical warning to Nigerians regarding the circulation of counterfeit Milo products in the market. This fake Milo, which closely resembles the original Nestlé product, poses significant health risks to consumers.
NAFDAC has emphasized the importance of being vigilant when purchasing Milo, urging the public to carefully inspect packaging details and avoid suspicious or unfamiliar vendors. The agency has also reiterated its commitment to cracking down on the distribution of counterfeit goods and has promised to take swift action against those responsible for this dangerous scam.
Consumers are advised to check for the NAFDAC registration number on the packaging and report any suspicious products to the nearest NAFDAC office. The agency is working closely with law enforcement to track down and prosecute the culprits behind the distribution of this fake product.
NAFDAC’s warning comes as part of its broader effort to safeguard the health of Nigerians and ensure that only genuine and safe products are available in the market. The agency continues to urge the public to be cautious and to prioritize their health by purchasing products from reputable sources.
As the investigation continues, NAFDAC assures Nigerians that it will not relent in its mission to protect the nation from harmful and substandard products. Consumers are encouraged to remain informed and to report any counterfeit goods they encounter.
