Federal Government of Nigeria has renewed its pledge to support African refugees displaced by ongoing conflicts and natural disasters. This reaffirmation came during a meeting with a delegation from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) at the State House.

Vice-President Kashim Shettima, speaking on behalf of the administration, emphasized Nigeria’s unwavering dedication to aiding displaced persons across the continent. “For Nigeria, we will continue to accommodate our brother Africans displaced by conflict and natural disasters,” Shettima stated, reflecting the nation’s steadfast stance on refugee support.
