Nigerians Applaud Governor Mohammed-Vows To Address Infrastructure-Gaps In Bauchi State (Details)

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has pledged to tackle the infrastructure deficit in the state, unveiling plans for a new leadership approach aimed at enhancing services and development.

Speaking to journalists after receiving the Award of Excellence at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja over the weekend, Mohammed emphasized that his developmental agenda for Bauchi will significantly modernize the state, attracting national and international investment.

He expressed gratitude to his team and the people of Bauchi for their continuous support of his administration.

Governor Mohammed was honored with the prestigious Urban Renewal Award by The Best Strategic (TBS) Media in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation at the 2024 Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS).

Mohammed described the award as a testament to the state’s commitment to transparent governance and dedicated it to the State Executive Council and all citizens of Bauchi.

Prominent figures present at the ceremony included Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, Former SGF Alhaji Yayale Ahmed, Emir of Bauchi Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, State PDP Chairman Hamza Koshe Akuyam, and Senator Abdul Ningi representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District, among others.
