Quoting Labour Party leader Peter Obi, he emphasized, “We are in a marathon race to produce a New Nigeria. I believe firmly, that a New Nigeria is imperative and possible!”

Nwosu expressed relief that efforts to structure the Obedient Movement are finally progressing, noting that early supporters are encouraged by these developments.

“The structuring of the Obedient Movement has been long overdue. We, who were there from the very beginning, are glad it is finally happening. We pray that it succeeds. The Obedient Movement is large and inclusive, transcending politics, ethnicity, and religion, and should welcome anyone committed to a better, peaceful, and productive Nigeria,” he stated.

Nwosu warned against individuals attempting to exploit the Movement’s growing influence, pointing to similar divides seen in Imo and Edo, where opportunistic alliances caused splintering.

“We must be careful. From the onset, the Obedient Movement was organic. It still is. But we must remember its titular leader and founding members—the six initial support groups. They all remain relevant to its vision and mission. Now that it’s fashionable to be Obedient, we are seeing people who were not there at the beginning, who made no contributions, trying to hijack the Movement. This must not be allowed. We cannot repeat the mistakes of Imo and Edo, where political allegiances split the Movement,” Nwosu emphasized.

He added, “The Obedient Movement is Peter Obi, and Peter Obi is the Obedient Movement. He is the leader, and we are his followers. We must remember that the Movement aligns with no political party and goes where he leads.”

Turning to Anambra, Nwosu described it as the next testing ground for the Obedient Movement, urging members to ignore figures claiming leadership within the Movement as the election approaches.

On his economic vision for Anambra, Nwosu highlighted plans for fair tax policies and social welfare programs, noting that residents are currently underserved and overtaxed.

“Our Internally Generated Revenue will focus on fair, compassionate, and progressive taxation. I am committed to tax policies that support small businesses and low-income earners to drive economic growth and social justice,” he explained. “My vision includes social welfare programs—social safety nets for housing, nutrition, and financial assistance—to protect vulnerable populations
