Ondo Islamic Cleric Arrested For Possession Of Fresh Human Parts

According to a statement from the spokesperson of the state command, Funmi Odunlami, the police received intelligence regarding the suspect’s alleged involvement in ritualistic practices. Acting swiftly on this information, law enforcement agents conducted a search of the suspect’s residence, where they discovered various human body parts including hands, kidneys, hearts, spine, and tongue.
The suspect, known as Alfa, reportedly confessed to being an Islamic cleric and admitted to intending to use the human parts for ritual purposes. He also implicated his friend, identified as an Alhaji, and another individual named Samuel Kutelu, alleging that they supplied some of the human parts to him. Additionally, the suspect claimed to have supplied human heads to an individual known as Babatunde Kayode, described as an Oluawo.
Both Babatunde Kayode and the Alhaji have been arrested, while efforts are underway to apprehend another cleric implicated by the suspect in the acquisition of human body parts.
This arrest underscores the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat ritualistic activities and illegal trafficking in human body parts, reaffirming the commitment to uphold the rule of law and protect the sanctity of human life in Ondo State.
