Osimhen opened the scoring with a powerful header just three minutes into the game. Despite a penalty equalizer by Cameroonian midfielder Olivier Ntcham early in the second half, Osimhen restored Galatasaray’s lead with another well-placed header minutes later.

With these goals, Osimhen has now accumulated eight goals and four assists in just nine appearances under head coach Okan Buruk. Michy Batshuayi added a third goal for Galatasaray, sealing the victory despite a stoppage-time response from Youssef Bennasser for Samsunspor.
