Pere Demands Visa Ban On Tyla Ahead Of Lagos Show

Pere’s call comes after reports alleged that Ayra Starr and some members of her crew were unable to secure South African visas ahead of a scheduled concert, resulting in the cancellation of the event.

Reacting through his X account, the reality television star appealed to the Nigeria Immigration Service to adopt a similar approach by refusing visas to Tyla and her entourage.

He argued that Nigeria should not continue to welcome South African entertainers while Nigerian artists reportedly encounter visa-related challenges when attempting to perform in South Africa.

Pere maintained that the country should respond to the reported treatment of Ayra Starr and her team with equivalent measures, insisting that Nigeria should take a stronger position on the matter.

He also disagreed with activist Omoyele Sowore, who had opposed calls for Nigerians to boycott Tyla’s planned concert in the country.

According to Pere, Nigeria should demonstrate reciprocity in response to the reported visa issues involving Nigerian entertainers, stating that equal treatment should apply in diplomatic and entertainment exchanges between both countries.
