Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Killing Mother And Sister In Ekiti

The Ekiti State Police Command has apprehended Victor Lorjaal, a resident of Aba Ile camp in Itaji-Ekiti, for allegedly killing his mother, Mrs. Victoria Lorjaal, and his elder sister, Brenda Lorjaal.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sunday Abutu, the tragic incident occurred on March 25, 2025, around 7:10 AM at a farm. In a statement issued in Ado Ekiti on Thursday, Abutu revealed that an eyewitness, one of the victims’ children, reported that while working on the farm with the suspect, Victor suddenly left and went to a remote area where their mother and sister were working….READ MORE….

The eyewitness claimed that shortly after Victor departed, he heard his mother screaming for help. However, by the time he approached the scene, it was too late. The suspect had allegedly carried out the attack and fled with the cutlass used, leaving both victims in a pool of blood.

The State Commissioner of Police, Joseph Eribo, has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident. The suspect will be charged in court once the investigation is completed, according to Abutu.
