Police’s Confirm that Bomb Incident At Plateau Bank was fake explosive 🧨

Reports emerged on Monday of a young man allegedly attempting to detonate a bomb in a bank located in Dadin Kowa town of Jos South Local Government Area. Zagazola Makama, a security analyst, initially described the device as a Person Borne Improvised Explosive Device (PBIED).

Makama stated that the suspect was intercepted by bank security personnel before he could execute the detonation. However, upon investigation, it was confirmed that the device was indeed fake.

DSP Alfred Alabo of the State Police affirmed the incident, stating that the command promptly responded to the alarm raised at the bank. Further examination revealed that the apparent explosives carried by the individual were non-functional.
