This arrest comes on the heels of the apprehension of five other suspects, all charged with murder-for-hire and conspiracy in connection with the fatal shooting of Saviay’a Robinson, the cousin of rapper Quando Rondo, in Los Angeles in 2022. Authorities believe the shooting is linked to ongoing gang conflicts.

Federal prosecutors have identified the other individuals involved as Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston. They are accused of plotting retaliation against Rondo for his alleged connection to the 2020 murder of Chicago rapper King Von in Atlanta, as reported by WGN-TV.

Baller Alert revealed that the indictment outlines a coordinated effort involving alleged members of OTF (Only the Family), who purportedly put a bounty on Quando Rondo’s head. Instead, Lul Pab, another cousin, was killed. Reportedly, OTF affiliates used a credit card associated with their record label to book flights from Chicago to California after tracking Rondo’s whereabouts.
