See What APGA Did To Soludo Yesterday

Professor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State is now the National Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Soludo, the third in line of succession, was elected by unanimous voice vote on Friday during a meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

In his remarks, the APGA National Leader accepted the honor and privilege, saying he feels the weight of history, including that of the nation’s forefathers who lived their lives as progressives.

According to him, APGA was the first political party to be registered with the name “progressives,” and it has since become the progressives’ home.

He paid glowing tributes to his predecessors, former Governor Willie Obiano and the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

Soludo promised to work actively with all APGA supporters and to extend an invitation to all true progressives to converge on APGA as their home, allowing it to grow for true progressive leadership in Nigeria at the right time.
