Shettima Reveals The Parts Of Nigeria That Will Benefit From Tinubu’s Administration
Vice President Kashim Shettima affirmed that every region of Nigeria will reap the benefits of President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s developmental endeavors.
Shettima provided this assurance during a courtesy visit to the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Umar-Garbai, in Maiduguri on Friday.
He acknowledged that the fledgling administration was cognizant of the challenges faced by Nigerians and was actively taking measures to alleviate them. Shettima explained that some of the difficult decisions made by the government were a response to the prevailing circumstances in the nation.

“Rest assured that in the upcoming weeks and months, the government will introduce numerous initiatives that will positively impact the lives of our citizens,” he emphasized. “We are here with the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security to explore the wheat production initiative in Borno. Tomorrow, we will engage in substantive discussions with the governor and his team on revitalizing the wheat production scheme in Borno and across the nation.”
Shettima further disclosed the President’s approval of N50 billion, facilitated through NEMA, to reignite the Puulaku Initiative in North West as a non-kinetic approach to addressing the challenges facing the people.
Additionally, he announced the green light from the President for the construction of 1000 houses in Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Kaduna, Niger, and Benue states. These housing projects will include essential facilities such as clinics and schools. In Benue and Kaduna states, the beneficiaries will represent a diverse cross-section of the population.
Shettima urged Nigerians to be patient and supportive as the administration gears up to deliver on its promises. He also represented Tinubu in inaugurating several school and health projects completed by Governor Babagana Zulum, marking his first 100 days in office. Shettima commended the governor for his outstanding leadership in providing tangible benefits of democracy to the people.
Earlier, in his welcome address, the Shehu of Borno outlined the security challenges in his emirate and emphasized the need for increased support for economic activities to fully resume.
He extended congratulations to President Tinubu and Kashim for their victory at the election tribunal and encouraged them to extend a hand of fellowship to their political opponents for a collective effort to advance the nation.
