Turji On The Run! Chief Of Defence Staff Exposes Terror Kingpin’s Desperation

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, has revealed that notorious terrorist kingpin Bello Turji is in a state of panic due to intensified military operations in the North West. Speaking in an interview on Thursday, October 3, in Abuja, Musa highlighted how the recent neutralization of key terrorist figures, such as Halilu Buzu, has disrupted Turji’s network and left him on edge.

According to General Musa, Turji’s recent actions reflect his fear and uncertainty. “You can tell from his behavior that he’s in a panic,” said Musa. “He used to boast as if he was untouchable. Now, he knows his time is running out, especially since his commander, Halilu Buzu, has been eliminated.”

Musa further explained that Turji is fully aware that he could be the next target of the military’s relentless campaign. “With his commander gone, Turji knows he’s next. Everything he does now is just noise-making,” the CDS remarked.

The military chief assured that operations will continue until terrorist networks in the region are completely dismantled. He also acknowledged the root causes of prolonged insecurity in the area, including poverty, illiteracy, and poor governance, which contribute to the recruitment of idle youth by terrorist groups.

Musa also stressed the importance of securing Nigeria’s borders to prevent terrorists from infiltrating the country. “We have a 1,500-kilometer border with Niger Republic, as well as another with Benin Republic. Many militants filter in and out of the country through these borders. Efforts are being made to secure them and deny terrorists the freedom to move,” he added.
