The President opened the 2023 cabinet retreat for ministers yesterday, with the theme “Delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda.” Tinubu delivered a passionate speech at the ceremony, emphasising his high expectations for the ministers. He is convinced that he has gathered a team of extraordinary people, and he will not tolerate poor performance from his cabinet members.

Tinubu spoke with obvious passion during his nearly 16-minute talk, expressing his undying dedication to serving the nation. His thundering message to the ministers, given without reading from a script, was both inspirational and commendable. He made it plain that he expects nothing less than success from them, and he has set a high bar that is extremely inspiring.

Marafa, a two-term senator, represented the Zamfara Central senatorial district during the 7th and 8th Nigerian Senate, from 2011 to 2019. His illustrious career included a noteworthy role as the Chairman of the Senate Joint Committee on Petroleum Resources, where he displayed remarkable excellence, earning the respect and admiration of his peers and constituents alike.

Senator Kabir Garba Marafa’s role in delivering Zamfara for Tinubu in the recent presidential election, where he served as the Coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organization in Zamfara State, has not only showcased his political prowess but also cemented his standing as a respected and influential figure in Nigerian politics.
