According to Ireporter Online, preparations are in full swing for ÀSÉ10: A Reign of Peace, Culture and Unity, a grand festival organized by SloweGanzi International to celebrate Yoruba heritage and mark the 10th coronation anniversary of His Imperial Majesty, Arolé Odùduwà, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojájá II, the 51st Ooni of Ife.

Scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 7, the festival promises to be a landmark event, bringing together the Yoruba people from across the world in a collective celebration of identity, creativity, and cultural pride.

Organizers described ÀSÉ10 as a platform designed to showcase the richness of Yoruba culture through art, music, fashion, film, scholarship, spirituality, and enterprise. The event also aims to inspire reconnection among the Yoruba diaspora while promoting Pan-African unity through culture and creativity.

Coinciding with the Ooni’s 10th coronation anniversary, the celebration will highlight a decade of his reign marked by peace, youth empowerment, and the revitalization of Yoruba cultural values.

The week-long activities will span Lagos to Ile-Ife and feature exhibitions, art installations, academic symposiums, film premieres, culinary festivals, fashion showcases, musical performances, and sacred traditional ceremonies. The festival will climax with a royal banquet and a spectacular fireworks display — a grand tribute to Yoruba artistry and hospitality.

A major highlight of the celebration will be the unveiling of the Legacy Project — Yoruba History & Arts Museum, to be established in Ile-Ife. The museum is envisioned as a lasting cultural institution that will preserve and promote Yoruba art, philosophy, and history for future generations.

A representative of SloweGanzi International described the initiative as “a call to reconnect, rediscover, and reassert the power of Yoruba heritage as a global force for unity and peace.”

Queen Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi also lauded the Ooni’s decade of leadership, emphasizing that His Majesty has “reimagined traditional leadership — not as a relic of the past, but as a living, evolving anchor for culture, unity, and development.”
