BREAKING: ‘No Winner’ – Supreme Court Takes Decision On Judgments In PDP, Rhodes-Vivour Cases Against Sanwo-Olu
On Tuesday, December 19, the Supreme Court reserved judgments in two appeals brought by Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party (LP) candidate, and Azeez Adediran, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, against the election of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Both appeals challenge the previous judgments of the Court of Appeal in Lagos, which upheld the decisions of the election tribunal dismissing their petitions that contested Sanwo-Olu’s victory in the last governorship election.

Presided over by Justice John Okoro, a five-member panel of the Supreme Court informed the parties that they would be notified when the judgments are ready.
The court session was attended by Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat, Secretary to the State Government Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin, and other senior officials of the Lagos State Government.
