announced by KADSIECOM chairperson Hajiya Hajara Mohammed. Luka Binniyat, the state chairman, urged Governor Uba Sani to critically evaluate the election and take a courageous stance to bolster democracy in the state.

Binniyat emphasized that elections didn’t occur in 12 local government areas of the Middle Belt, citing late arrival of materials and missing results sheets, which led to voters’ refusal to participate. He argued that declaring winners was impossible, as required by KADSIECOM.

The chairman appealed to the Kaduna State House of Assembly to amend the KAD-SIECOM law, incorporating heavy fines and jail terms for electoral offenses, particularly for officials handling electoral matters. He stressed that the APC could win all 23 local government areas, but it must do so fairly and transparently.

Binniyat lamented the spread of false results on social media, labeling it an insult to the collective intelligence of Kaduna’s people and a setback for the state’s progress. He warned that allowing such results to stand would undermine Governor Uba Sani’s integrity and trust among citizens.
