Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today, September 4, 2026 — See Latest Rate
The Nigerian naira recorded a slight improvement against the United States dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday, as the local currency continued to fluctuate amid changing market conditions.
According to Ireporter Online, data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed that the naira traded at ₦1,315.6717 to the dollar on Thursday, compared with ₦1,326.6862 recorded on Wednesday.
The latest figure represents a modest appreciation of the naira against the dollar at the official market.
However, the local currency remained weaker at the parallel market, where the dollar exchanged for about ₦1,405 on Thursday.
Exchange rates offered by commercial banks, Bureau de Change operators and other foreign exchange dealers may vary from the official reference rate due to transaction margins, as well as prevailing demand and supply conditions.
Market participants are expected to continue monitoring foreign exchange inflows, dollar demand and policy measures by the CBN for further indications of the naira’s performance in the coming weeks.
