50 Esan Students Benefit From Scholarship Program(Photos)

On Easter Monday 2023, fifty children from 12 various schools across the Esan South East Local Government area, received scholarships for the payment of WAEC fees during the inauguration Ceremony of the Mama Atupele Arumhen Edaghese Foundation held at the Community Town hall in Ubiaja, Edo State.

Several dignitaries were present at the event hosted by Mr. Adolphus Arebanmhen Aletor as the convener of the Mama Atupele Arunhen Edaghese Foundation. In attendance were several dignitaries cutting across the Corporate world, Politicians, and custodians of the esan tradition in Ubiaja including the royal highness the onojie of Ubiaja.

The guest speaker, Engr. John Ujeamheando during his presentation admonished the children to imbibe the spirit of hard work and be focused to justify the scholarship. During the citation, Dr. Christain Erohubie eulogized the convener, Mr. Adolphus Arebanmhen Aletor, and commended him for using his resources to better the lives of the children.

In his address, the convener thanked the teachers, children, and parents present and urged the children to appreciate the scholarship and count themselves lucky as beneficiaries amongst many children in the local government.

The twelve schools that benefited from the scholarship program include St. John Bosco’s College Ubiaja, Okhuesan Secondary School, Ugboha Grammar School, Ohordua Mixed Grammar School, Edeikholor Grammar School, Emu Secondary School, Ewohimi Secondary School, Ewatto Grammar School, Obiaza Mixed Secondary School, Okaigben Secondary School, Sacred Heart Girls Model School, and Agadaga Secondary School. All 12 schools are situated in Esan SE local government area.
