Abuja Residents Given Deadline by FCT-IRS To Submit Annual Tax Returns

The Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS) has issued an ultimatum to all Abuja residents to file their annual income tax returns before the deadline of March 31, 2025……READ MORE

According to a statement by FCT-IRS Head of Corporate Communications, Mustapha Sumaila, all taxpayers—including private and public sector employees, business owners, self-employed individuals, and public office holders—must file their income returns for the 2024 financial year as required by law.

Failure to comply will result in best-of-judgment assessments being issued on defaulters, alongside possible criminal and civil penalties.
