Speaking at a gathering with officials and members of the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers in Akure, Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized that his gubernatorial ambition transcended the joint ticket with Akeredolu. It was a profound mission aimed at catalyzing the transformation of Ondo State and enhancing the welfare of its citizens.

Asserting his confidence in securing the gubernatorial ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming primary elections scheduled for April, Aiyedatiwa expressed unwavering faith in his victory in both the primaries and the subsequent general elections slated for November.

“My supporters should remain steadfast, for my victory in the primaries and the general elections is divinely ordained,” affirmed Aiyedatiwa, echoing his conviction in divine providence.

Recounting Akeredolu’s prophetic endorsement, Aiyedatiwa shed light on a pivotal moment during an executive council meeting after Akeredolu’s return from a medical vacation. “Akeredolu prophesied my emergence as the next governor,” revealed Aiyedatiwa, emphasizing the foresight and vision of his late boss.

In a demonstration of grassroots support, Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi, Convener of LACO-FS, unveiled a formidable campaign strategy with over 250,000 ‘Foot Soldiers’ strategically positioned across Ondo State’s 18 local government areas. This massive mobilization effort aims to secure victory for Aiyedatiwa in both the primary and general elections, underscoring the widespread grassroots momentum behind his candidacy.
