APC’s Okpebholo Storms Okada With Carnival-Style Campaign Extravaganza

The APC governorship campaign in Edo State transformed into a vibrant carnival as the party’s candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, made a grand entrance in Okada, Ovia North East. Welcomed by a large and enthusiastic crowd, the APC flag-bearer led a lively procession through the streets, accompanied by traditional dancers, musicians, and a throng of supporters.

During the event, Hon. Omosede Igbenedion addressed the crowd, urging them to dismiss any threats and declaring, “My father has given us the freedom to support whomever we choose. Every son and daughter of Ovia should vote for our own, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, as the deputy governorship candidate.”

In his speech, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, the APC deputy governorship candidate, acknowledged past differences with Omosede but emphasized their unity in the Ovia agenda. He questioned the unfulfilled promises of Governor Obaseki, asking, “Where are the Gelegele Seaport and the dualized Okada road that Obaseki promised Ovia?”

He then rallied the people of Okada to support the APC with 100% of their votes, assuring them that the party would deliver on its promises.

Senator Okpebholo, the APC governorship candidate, took the stage and declared, “We are bringing hope to the people of Edo. We will address the issues of insecurity, poor roads, and the decline of our educational system. We will revive the education sector and employ over 5,000 teachers.”

The crowd responded with cheers and applause as Okpebholo outlined his vision for the state. The festive atmosphere continued, with traditional dancers and musicians keeping spirits high.

As the campaign moved to its next destination, the people of Okada were left with renewed optimism and a strong resolve to support the APC ticket in the upcoming election.
