To ensure the seamless continuation of government functions and public services, all general secretaries, ministerial offices, director generals, and state service officials have received directives to promptly resume their duties, the spokesperson noted.
Furthermore, Gabon’s new leadership affirms its commitment to uphold all national and international obligations. The military chiefs have expressed their pledge to honor the country’s commitments both within its borders and on the global stage.
In this regard, General Oligui “wishes to reassure all donors, development partners, and state creditors that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the fulfillment of our nation’s obligations, both domestically and internationally,” the spokesperson affirmed.
