VeryDarkMan further claimed that certain unnamed officers from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) accepted ₦15 million from Bobrisky to dismiss money laundering charges against him. Additionally, he alleged that Falana tried to secure a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for ₦10 million. In response to these allegations, Falana denied any association with Bobrisky and issued a 24-hour ultimatum for VeryDarkMan to retract his claims.

In an interview with Sahara TV, Falana revealed that his son Falz informed him that Bobrisky had reached out from prison, but his son advised him to follow the proper communication channels. Falana recounted, “On May 4th this year, he called my son from the correctional center, but my son told him to communicate through the Superintendent of Prisons. Bobrisky wanted to raise ₦3 million to secure a special arrangement in prison. I was careful in my advice because under the law, communication from prison must go through official channels.” Addressing the threats he and his daughter have received, Falana stated, “Some of these individuals, who I believe are mentally unstable, have dared me, saying that if I go to court, they will burn my office. They’ve also sent threats to my daughter, but I have assured her not to worry, and I am taking the matter seriously.”
