Edo North To Okpebholo (Akpakomiza) “Go Prepare For  Your Swearing In”By Ishiak Yusuf Ayonote.  Senator Monday Okpebholo and his running mate, Rt Hon Dennis Idahosa have been told to go and get prepared for their swearing in as Governor and Deputy Governor of Edo State come November this year by the people of Edo North.

This message was delivered today 15th August 2024 at Auchi unanimously by all the leaders and thousands of enthusiastic party and supporters of Akpakomiza during the formal flag off of APC gubernatorial campaign for Edo North.

The event which was attended by all the Political heavy weights was led by the leader of the party in Edo State Comrade Senator Adams Aliu Oshiomole who was visibly angry at the massive damage the misgovernance and retardation Governor Obaseki’s PDP government has wrought on the state in the last Eight years. He lamented that, Obaseki has taken the state back by another 50 years vowying that the combined energies of two of the most intelligent products of our State in the persons of Akpakomiza and Denco will reset Edo State on a path of sustainable growth and recovery saying ” Edo will surely rise again”

With this unambigous stand by Edo North, the road to Osadebe avenue is assured for APC and it’s Governorship candidate in the September 21 Edo State gubernatorial election.

Notable leaders of Edo North who joined Oshiomole and thousands of supporters from accross the six local government to receive Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa were the Minister for Niger Delta, Rt Hon, Abubakar Momoh, leader House of Rep, Prof, Ihionvbere, APC state Chairman, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, Deputy Governor of Edo State, Phillip Shaibu, Hon. Anamero Dekeri (Danko), former Chairmen of local Government led by the Coordinator of APC campaign council Etsako West, Hon Yakubu Musa Yakson, Hon Alasa Idaro, Chairmen of the party led by Etsako West LGA Chairman Hon Dauda Ahmed Kurata, Edo North APC leaders such as Alhaji Abubakar Akokhia, Alhaji Shaka Okwilague Shamac leader of Uzairue, Alhaji Jim Garuba, Etsako West leader, serving and former federal and state legislators, notable state and Edo North who is who in the Political calculation of the state. The women, Youth and support groups mobilized in their thousands from all over the zone to sound a very clear message to PDP, Obaseki and his prodigy Asue Ighodalo that the game was up.
