Reasons for the Ministerial Dismissals

Sources revealed that the dismissals were due not only to subpar performance but also to the perceived damage caused to Tinubu’s administration, with some ministers allegedly acting contrary to the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda. “Some ministers were undermining Tinubu’s anti-corruption efforts, subjecting Nigeria to ridicule on the international stage,” a close ally to the President told Vanguard.
