He clarified that the actual budget for the programme amounts to N1,197,700,000 for the entire month. Governor Yusuf urged the media to verify their information from credible sources rather than relying on speculative figures.

Recently, the governor visited various distribution centers where food is provided to those in need during Ramadan. The purpose of the visit was to assess the performance of those responsible for distributing food and ensure adherence to guidelines.

During one of his visits, Governor Yusuf expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the food being distributed. He questioned the adequacy of the preparation and distribution methods and expressed disappointment with the overall quality.

In his remarks, he exclaimed, “Is this kunu? Wow, check that out. Is there any sugar available? It’s baffling how such subpar food is being distributed, especially considering the significant funds allocated for this programme. How can someone prepare this poorly and give people as food? Wallahi, Allah will deal with anyone doing this during this holy period of Ramadan.”
