The 20-year-old Brazilian right-back, now playing for Shakhtar Donetsk, and his ex-girlfriend, Ingrid Lima, welcomed a daughter, Maite, on October 8, 2024. In celebration of her birth, Tobias had the words “Maite, I love you” inked on his arm.

However, Ingrid later revealed that her relationship with Tobias was unstable at the time of Maite’s conception. According to The Sun UK, she confirmed that a DNA test proved Tobias is not the biological father. Addressing the situation on social media, Ingrid explained, “I wanted to clear the air about something that has become bothersome. Unfortunately, I have to make this public. Vinicius and I haven’t been together for a while. During that period, we were both seeing other people.”

She added, “Maite was born during this time, and we decided to do a DNA test, which confirmed that Vinicius is not her biological father. I ask everyone to stop attacking him. It was my request for him not to be present at the birth or share anything until we received the DNA results. We’ve talked and reached an amicable agreement.”

Tobias, who had a brief loan stint with Real Madrid earlier this year, made just one senior appearance before returning to Shakhtar Donetsk.
