Igbo-Leader Praises Governor Sanwo-Olu For Unifying Efforts (View-Text)

Leader of the Igbo Community and Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State, Christian Nwachukwu, has commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his efforts in fostering unity among residents. Nwachukwu expressed gratitude on behalf of the Igbo community for the governor’s inclusive approach towards non-indigenes.

Speaking at the Lagos State Igbo Community Centre in Okota, Nwachukwu reacted to Sanwo-Olu’s counsel to residents on Democracy Day, emphasizing the governor’s call for unity and cooperation to sustain and protect democracy.

Nwachukwu highlighted that Sanwo-Olu’s advice to uphold democracy honors the struggles of the founding fathers and heroes, emphasizing the need for unity, peace, and progress. He echoed the governor’s sentiment, stating, “Sanwo-Olu’s advice that all must sustain democracy so the struggle of founding fathers and heroes of democracy will not be in vain is a call for unity, peace, and progress.”
