According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has urged women not to tie their sense of achievement to marriage or motherhood, stressing that true fulfilment should come from self-worth, personal growth, and the pursuit of individual dreams rather than societal expectations.

Speaking on the values she hopes to pass on to her daughter with media personality Egungun, Idemudia emphasized the importance of self-respect, noting that a woman who values herself is less likely to be disrespected by others.

She stated that she does not consider marriage or childbirth as life accomplishments, insisting that every woman should be allowed to achieve her milestones at her own pace and timing.

The actress also reflected on success within the entertainment industry, explaining that hard work alone does not always guarantee recognition or breakthrough. She noted that while some individuals may work harder, others may still receive more visibility or success, attributing outcomes to a combination of effort and grace.

Idemudia further encouraged women to remain determined in their careers despite the additional pressure they often face compared to men, stressing the need to consistently strive for excellence in order to earn recognition.

She also advised women to ignore negative labels and criticism often directed at successful females, urging them to stay focused, avoid envy, and draw inspiration from those who have achieved success before them.
