Nigerian Woman Allegedly Stabs Husband To Death In Benue State During Argument Over Sex
In Achusa Village, Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue State, a 29-year-old woman identified as Torkwase Kpile reportedly stabbed her husband to death following an argument over sex.
According to reports, the couple, who had been married for two months, engaged in a disagreement over sex, during which Kpile allegedly picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband, Igbah Kpile, in the neck.
Neighbours, alerted by Kpile’s screams, rushed to the house and found him in a pool of blood. The wife, reportedly unremorseful and angry, claimed that her husband had been persistently demanding sex from her.
Despite being rushed to a nearby clinic in Makurdi, Kpile succumbed to his injuries on the way and was pronounced dead upon arrival by the attending doctor.
The suspect, Torkwase, is currently at large, and the police have initiated an investigation into the murder.
SP Catheren Anene, the spokesperson for the Benue State Police Command, could not be reached for comment despite multiple attempts to contact her.
