In a lawsuit marked CV/1224/24, Ejiofor has accused Dike of defaming his character and is seeking a staggering N50 billion in damages.

Dike’s alleged defamatory statements were made during a press conference on February 4, 2024, where he reportedly leveled false and injurious accusations against Ejiofor. These remarks, widely circulated, have purportedly tarnished Ejiofor’s reputation among his professional peers, friends, clients, and family.

Ejiofor’s legal team has served Dike with a notice demanding the immediate retraction of the offending statements. The lawsuit seeks not only damages but also a public retraction of the defamatory remarks in three national newspapers, along with a formal apology from Dike. Additionally, Ejiofor is requesting an undertaking from Dike to refrain from any future defamatory actions against him.
