Reps Forge Alliance With Military To Combat Crude Oil Theft

Committee Chairman Alhassan Ado-Doguwa conveyed the committee’s admiration for recent achievements by the military in securing government facilities and uncovering illegal activities in the oil sector.
During a visit to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Chris Musa, the committee commended the military’s dedication to safeguarding government assets and enhancing production processes in the oil and gas sector.
Ado-Doguwa assured continuous legislative scrutiny and potential amendments to the Petroleum Industry Act for the optimal functioning of the nation’s oil industry, aligning with the government’s economic revitalization efforts.
