Sarz Reveals How Ego Held Back Early Career Collaborations
According to Ireporter Online, record producer and singer Sarz has revealed that excessive ego in the early stages of his career prevented him from collaborating with fellow artists.
The music producer disclosed in an interview with The Fadar that he was once hot-headed and driven by the desire to impress everyone, believing he was the best in the industry at the time. He explained that this mindset made him look down on many of his colleagues, which ultimately limited early collaboration opportunities.
Sarz noted that his outlook has since evolved, saying he now recognises that he does not have all the answers. He added that this realisation has made him more open-minded, willing to work with and learn from both established acts and newcomers in the music industry.
He further emphasised that growth has taught him humility and collaboration, stressing that he is now receptive to ideas from anyone, regardless of their experience level.
