Sh*ck Confession: Saheed Osupa Reveals ‘Juju’ Secret Behind His Rise To Fame

According to Ireporter Online, popular Fuji musician Saheed Okunola, widely known as Saheed Osupa, has admitted to practicing traditional spiritual rituals, commonly referred to as juju or voodoo, as a means of enhancing his success.

The revelation came during his performance at the 52nd birthday celebration of veteran Nollywood actor Fatai Odua, popularly known as Lalude, on March 30, 2026. A video of the performance, which surfaced online on Wednesday, captured Osupa speaking candidly and humorously to his backup singers about the role of spiritual practices in personal development.

During the show, Osupa advised his team to consider engaging in such practices to improve memory and overall performance, while stressing that these rituals do not equate to being “fetish” but serve as a tool for personal growth.

He disclosed that he had previously been advised to publicly deny involvement in supernatural practices but chose not to, emphasizing that his use of juju is solely for progress and not to cause harm. “I didn’t kill anyone with my juju or commit evil with it. I am only looking for how to progress. Nothing more,” Osupa stated.

The musician also revealed that he regularly pays homage to Ifa, a traditional Yoruba spiritual system, as part of his personal practice, noting its importance in his daily life. Humorously, he added, “If I don’t engage in voodoo, what else should I have employed? Is it Phensic or Panadol that will make me successful?”

Osupa further argued that spiritual practices are common, though many people engage in them privately. “Everybody practices voodoo. While some hide behind the scenes to do theirs, I do mine in the open. All those talks that I rely solely on the Bible and the Quran are pure lies,” he said.
