Reacting to the allegations in an interview, Shehu Sani dismissed the claims, stating they were fabricated to tarnish the governor’s image amid an ongoing investigation into El-Rufai’s administration involving N420 billion.

Sani urged El-Rufai to produce concrete proof of Uba Sani’s alleged acquisition of properties in South Africa, Seychelles, and London if he wanted to be taken seriously. He also reminded the people of Kaduna of El-Rufai’s tenure, accusing him of mismanaging the state’s resources and insisting that he should face the corruption probe rather than spreading misinformation.

His response followed El-Rufai’s recent accusation that Governor Uba Sani misappropriated Local Government funds for personal property acquisitions abroad.
