Troops Decimate Terrorists, Liberate 8 Abductees, And Eradicate Hideouts In Zamfara Raid

In a daring and decisive operation, the Joint Task Force North West Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD) has dealt a severe blow to terrorist forces, annihilating their strongholds, rescuing eight kidnapped victims, and restoring hope in Zamfara State.

According to Lieutenant Suleiman Omale, Information Officer of Operation HADARIN DAJI, the valiant troops executed a meticulously planned ambush operation on February 28, 2024, targeting the terrorists’ enclaves in the Bayan Ruwa axis, a notorious crossing point for criminal elements in the state.

In a display of unwavering bravery and unmatched combat prowess, the troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce gun battle, forcing the assailants to flee in disarray and abandon their captives. Swift and decisive action by the troops ensured the safe liberation of all eight kidnap victims, unharmed and reunited with their families.

Moreover, the gallant soldiers, in a relentless pursuit of peace and security, obliterated the terrorists’ hideouts and asserted dominance over the area through aggressive and confidence-building patrols.
