Both players are nursing injuries, rendering them unavailable for selection.

As Moyes seeks his initial Premier League victory after a string of three draws and one defeat in the last four matches, he will have to contend without Paqueta, who is grappling with a calf issue, and Antonio, who, although back in training after a knee injury, is not yet deemed match-fit.

“Lucas Paquetá isn’t quite ready. Michail Antonio has resumed training, but he has only participated in group sessions for two days.

“While it’s positive to have him back, he still needs time to regain match fitness and be ready for selection,” Moyes informed reporters during Friday’s press conference.
