ICYMI: Buhari Hosts Olu Of Warri, Wife At Aso Rock (Photos)

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Wednesday, hosted the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, and his wife at the State House in Abuja.

The foremost Itsekiri monarch announced the visit via a statement on his Instagram page titled, ‘President Buhari hosts Olu of Want to a Warm Reception at Aso Rock.’

Giving details on the visit, the statement partly read, “During the visit, His Majesty outlined this agenda to include a strong focus on youth development through enterprise creation and the hastening of opportunities through the rehabilitation of Federal assets like roads, ports and important policy support within the Warri Kingdom.

“After leaving the President, the Royal entourage went on to visit the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in his offices and had further fruitful engagements with him.

“His Majesty was accompanied on the visit by her Highness Olori Atuwatse III and several chiefs from the Want Kingdom including Chief Mene Brown, Chief Oma Eyewuoma, Chief Thomas Ereyetomi, Daniel Reyeneju, Dr. (Mrs) Dere Awosika and Mr Julius Rone, a notable Itsekiri Oil & Gas businessman who lends support and experience to His Majesty’s energy think tank.”

The monarch also shared pictures of the visit on his Instagram page.
