Morka underscored that the well-being of workers remains a paramount concern for the Tinubu administration, constituting a central aspect of his Renewed Hope Agenda.

The statement stated, “Pretending to express concern for Nigerian workers, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in a statement dated December 30, 2023, criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration for the ‘delayed’ payment of December salaries to federal workers.

The rather feeble statement also sought to depict the administration as undermining the economic welfare of Nigerians.

“For the record, the December salaries of federal workers have been disbursed. However, this fact proves to be an insurmountable challenge for the dilapidated PDP to confirm or verify.

The Party would rather exhibit its foolishness, incompetence, envy, and confusion in a statement that is embarrassingly devoid of reason or coherence.

“Undoubtedly, President Bola Tinubu’s administration has exhibited far greater sensitivity and dedication to workers’ welfare in his few months in office than all of the PDP’s 16 years of reckless and extravagant rule.

In the best interest of workers, the administration has consistently promoted meaningful dialogue and engagement with organized labor in the prevention and resolution of disputes.
