Battle For Supremacy: APC Accuses Kwankwaso Of Challenging Ganduje In Kano

This assertion was made by the National Legal Adviser of the APC, Abdulkareem Kana, during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

Kana alleged that evidence suggests the involvement of NNPP leadership and its members in Kano state in sponsored protests aimed at ousting Ganduje from his position as APC’s national chairman. He portrayed the move as an attempt to destabilize the APC, although he expressed confidence in the resilience of the party against such actions.

While Kana acknowledged the strained relationship between Ganduje and Kwankwaso, he characterized it as political maneuvering rather than irreconcilable differences. He emphasized Ganduje’s leadership qualities and commitment to inclusivity within the party.

In response, the National Publicity Secretary of NNPP, Ladipo Johnson, dismissed the allegations, labeling the APC as a disoriented party with a leader plagued by delusions. He distanced Kwankwaso from the situation, asserting that Ganduje’s troubles stemmed from internal conflicts within his ward and his reluctance to address them legally.
