Bloodshed In Borno: Boko Haram Executes Aid Workers, Releases Disturbing VideoA disturbing, unverified video has emerged, showing Boko Haram militants executing two Red Cross workers in Ngoshe, a community in Gwoza Local Government Area, Borno State.

Recent reports highlighted ongoing violence in the region, where farmers have been killed, many abducted, and farmlands looted by the terrorist group.

In the video, a Boko Haram leader, speaking in Hausa, claims responsibility for capturing Red Cross staff and elderly women, including his sister. While he states that the elderly women would be released, the militants executed the others to demonstrate their continued presence and strength, emphasizing that they believe their actions are divinely sanctioned.

The video ends with the execution of the victims using an axe, accompanied by chants of “Allahu Akbar.”

Reacting to the video, Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, who represents the Gwoza area, acknowledged watching the footage and is working to verify its authenticity. He reiterated his warnings to the federal government about the ongoing threat of renewed Boko Haram attacks on residents, particularly farmers returning to their homes after years of displacement.

Efforts to get official confirmation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) were unsuccessful at the time of reporting.
