Sanusi, speaking on the events leading to his reinstatement, disclosed that President Tinubu resisted pressures to utilize federal might and instead prioritized maintaining law and order in Kano State.

Following the signing of the new Kano Emirate Council Law 2024 by Governor Abba Yusuf, Sanusi was officially reinstated on Friday, marking a significant turn of events after his initial removal by former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

In an interview with TVC, Sanusi expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for his principled stance on non-interference in the state’s internal affairs. Sanusi emphasized that Tinubu’s recognition of the Kano saga as a local matter played a crucial role in ensuring his reinstatement.
